How we collect, use, and protect the personal data of visitors and contacts through timca.es, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Spanish data protection law.

2. What data we process and why
Through the contact form available on the website, TIMCA collects the following personal data, voluntarily provided by the user: full name, company, email address, phone number, profile (manufacturer/producer, buyer, or other), and the content of the message.
This data is processed in order to:
- Handle and respond to inquiries, requests, or business proposals submitted through the contact form.
- Manage the business relationship that may result from the initial contact.
TIMCA does not use the collected data to build automated profiles or for any purpose other than those described here.
3. Legal basis
The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent, given by checking the box accepting this Privacy Policy before submitting the contact form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and, where applicable, the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) where the contact is intended to explore a business relationship.
4. How long we keep your data
Personal data will be kept for as long as the contact or business relationship is maintained and, once it has ended, for the statutory limitation periods that apply. If no business relationship is established, contact-form data will be kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, after which it will be deleted or anonymized.
5. Who receives your data
TIMCA does not disclose or transfer users' personal data to third parties, except where legally required. To properly provide the service, TIMCA relies on the following providers, which act as data processors under Article 28 GDPR:
- Web3Forms — used for the technical handling of contact-form submissions by email. See their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
- STRATO — hosting provider for the timca.es website.
These providers process data only on TIMCA's instructions and never use it for their own purposes.
6. Your rights
Anyone has the right to confirm whether TIMCA is processing personal data concerning them. Data subjects have the right to:
- Access their personal data.
- Request rectification of inaccurate data.
- Request erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
- Request restriction of processing, in which case the data will only be kept to assert or defend claims.
- Object to the processing of their data.
- Request data portability.
You may exercise these rights by writing to info@timca.es, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of an identity document.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es if you believe the processing of your personal data infringes applicable law.
7. Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file stored on a user's device when visiting a website, which can be used to recognize the user on subsequent visits.
The timca.es website uses only technical cookies — those strictly necessary for the website's operation and browsing (for example, to remember that you have already seen the cookie notice). Under Spanish and EU regulatory guidance on cookies, this type of cookie is exempt from the requirement to obtain prior user consent.
timca.es currently does not use analytics, advertising, or social-media cookies, nor third-party tools such as Google Analytics. The site's fonts are self-hosted on our own server, so browsing the site does not transmit data to third-party content delivery networks.
Should TIMCA introduce analytics or other non-technical cookies in the future, this Cookie Policy will be updated and prior user consent will be requested through a dedicated consent panel before such cookies are installed.
Users may delete stored cookies and configure their browser to block their installation at any time, through their browser's privacy settings.
8. Changes to this Privacy Policy
TIMCA reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to legislative or case-law developments. Any such change will be announced on this page with reasonable notice before it takes effect.
